Friday, July 8, 2011 - 6:21pm

CHOCTAW, La (FOX44) - A tow truck shut down a train this morning.
Shortly after 9am on July 8th, a tow truck attempted to beat a train at the crossing on Airline Highway near Choctaw.
Traffic was backed up for an hour while the railroad company inspected the damage.
He was towing another tow truck that was being taken in for repairs.
That haul made him too long and the back of the second truck was clipped by the train.
No one was hurt in the accident, but the driver was cited for disobeying a rail road crossing.
