LOUISIANA (FOX44) - Not buckling up played a role in deaths on Louisiana roads. over the weekend
None of the six drivers who lost their lives in the Bayou State over the July fourth holiday were strapped in at the time of their fatal crashes. These numbers are lower than previous years. Additionally, forty one people in Baton Rouge were arrested on DWI charges. Louisiana State Police say avoiding these mistakes when behind the wheel can help keep you, and those around out of harms way.
If you see an impaired driver on the road you can let the Louisiana State Police know by dialing "star LSP" from your cell phone.
