BATON ROUGE, LA (FOX44) - The 239th Louisiana National Guard M.P. Company touched down in Baton Rouge this morning.
Their function in Iraq was to train Iraqi Policemen, they've been overseas for over a year.
Every family that was there was happy to have their loved one back, even if it's only for a short time.
Soldiers like Private Lawrence Foster say it's the looks on the faces of his Brother and Sister that make all his hard work worth it.
"It's important for me to come home, cause my mom's not here anymore, and I gotta come help my little brother and little sister. It definitely encourages me to go back and finish my training, it makes me look forward to returning to finish out my training," said Foster
