TV's highest paid sitcom star
HOLLYWOOD HOOKUP (FOX44) – Ashton Kutcher is now TV's highest paid sitcom star. His first episode of “Two and a Half Men” hasn't even aired yet but we're told the he'll be making 700-thousand dollars per episode. That's less than what Charlie Sheen made before being booted off the show but it is more than his costars. "Two and a Half Men" season premiere is on September 19.
– After tonight there will be no more “Lopez Tonight”. TBS has pulled the plug on the nightly talk show. George Lopez gave up his 11 p.m. slot to Conan O’Brien.
– The star of Nickelodeon's "iCarly", Miranda Cosgrove, breaking her ankle after her tour bus wrecked this morning in Illinois. The actress-singer and the other passengers will all be fine, but her "Dancing Crazy Summer Tour" is on hold until further notice.
– Apparently when you're “The Situation”, you can get away with breaking the law. TMZ releasing a video of the “Jersey Shore” star, in his Ferrari, with two unrestrained ladies in his passenger’s seat. According to TMZ, the cops didn't issue him a ticket, but asked for his autograph and instead. The New Jersey police department is still investigating.
