BATON ROUGE, La (WGMB) -- Baton Rouge Police are still investigating an early morning shooting.
Polcie say they got several 911 calls around 3:00 Tuesday morning reporting gunshots near Louisiana and Delphine. When officers patrolled the area - they say they didn't find anything unusual.
Then - as the sun was coming up around 6:30 - more 911 calls to police reporting two bodies near an apartment complex. BRPD Investigators, District Attorney Hillar Moore, and Baton Rouge Police Chief Jeff LeDuff spent the morning at the scene.
Police say the two men were found with gunshot wounds along with several bullet casings. The names of the victims haven't been released. Police tell FOX News Baton Rouge whoever shot the men moved the men off the street to give themselves more time to get away.
In the community - residents say now - they're living in fear. One woman who spoke with FOX News Baton Rouge says she's used to the gunshots and sirens - but now it's too close to home and something needs to be done.
