Two Florida men busted with drugs in Walker

Walker PD picked up almost 1,000 tablets of Roxycodone

WALKER, La (WGMB)--Walker Police arrested two men from Florida when they were found with nearly 1,000 tablets of Roxycodone.

It happened last Thursday night around 11pm. Agents pulled the men's pick up truck over just south of Walker.

The men led authorities back to their hotel in Walker where agents discovered 988 dosage units of Roxycodone. The street value for one pill is $25.00 making the total retail value of the drugs just under $25,000.00.

Kenneth D. Wright, a 36 year old white male who listed his address as 2405 Cherokee Ave., West Palm Beach, Fla., was charged as follows:
>1 Count Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule II CDS

 

Eric W. Bable, a 50 year old male who listed his address as 352 Jennings Ave., Green Acres, Fla., was charged as follows:
>1 Count Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule II CDS

Both men are in the Livingston Parish Detention Center in lieu of a $50,000.00 bond.
