BATON ROUGE, LA (FOX44) — The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Department is investigating reports of shots fired at an apartment complex located in the Gardere area.

Little details are known at this time. What we do know is that the gun shots were fired in an apartment complex located on Jasper Street. No victim has been found, so Deputies believe no one was injured.

This is the second shooting incident to occur in that area within 24-hours. The first incident happened in the evening on Sunday, Sept. 25. The Sheriff's Department says the incident happened just after 7:30 in the evening.

Officials say shots were fired at several people who were located at a park on Gardere Lane. One adult male was hit by a stray bullet. We're told he is expected to survive.
