BATON ROUGE, LA (FOX44) -- Once again, Baton Rouge will be crawling with alien life. Celtic Studios on Bluebonnet has confirmed that Universal Pictures has opened up an office at their headquarters.

IMDB reports that the project is budgeted at $200-million. That's because it features a big name cast including Tom Cruise and Jessica Chastain. The sci-fi picture will be directed by Joseph Kosinski (Tron: Legacy).

The working title for the production is “Horizons.” It’s based on a graphic novel and tells the story of a military veteran who is shipped off to a distant planet. His mission is to destroy the remains of an alien race that inhabits that planet.

Celtic says that Universal will be using two of its stages through June and one through mid-August of 2012. They also say that Universal is currently taking applications for crew to work on that project.

The film is projected to be released by July 19, 2013.
