Dust off your rod and reel Wildlife and Fisheries “Free Fishing Weekend” is here again.
You can fish in Louisiana waters this weekend only without buying a Recreational Fishing License.

Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Commission says the annual event is a good way to get started fishing, and introduce the general public to the sport.

State Parks are getting involved too, several parks will host a free fishing day on Saturday, June 11th.
