NATIONAL NEWS — Oklahoma State University's women's basketball coach and assistant coach were killed in a plane crash Thursday night.

The university says Kurt Budke and Miranda Serna were killed when the single-engine plane they were in crashed near a wildlife management area in central Arkansas.

The pair were on a recruiting trip at the time of the crash.

The pilot and another passenger on board were also killed in the crash, but the university says they were not associated with the school.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.

Ten men affiliated with the university's men's basketball team also died in a Colorado plane crash back in January 2001.
