BATON ROUGE, La (FOX44) — Area business leaders come together to finalize the upcoming Lemonade Day at Zolia Bistro. Lemonade stands will be popping up everywhere in Baton Rouge May 12, 2012 thanks to the nationwide program set up to teach kids how to create their own business.
Inspired by his daughter's own lemonade stand, entrepreneur Michael Holthouse started the program that now reaches 65,000 youth.
"We were talking about business, talking about expenses and capital gain- the best way to market and sales it was incredible and cause its fun and experiential the light bulbs were coming on in her mind," said Michael Hohlthouse, Lemonade Day founder.
