Time changed for Spanish Town Parade due to weather

BATON ROUGE, LA — The East Baton Rouge Parish Mayor-President Office, Baton Rouge Police Department and Spanish Town Parade Officials have made a decision to change the Spanish Town's Parade start time from 12:00 noon to 3:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 18, due to the possibility of severe weather.

That BRPD asks that parade spectators wait until 2:00 p.m. before making an attempt to enter the downtown area.

The float line up and parade participants arrival time has also been changed to 2:00 p.m.
