NEW ORLEANS, LA (FOX44) — The Wizard World Comic Con announced today, Friday, April 6, that it will return to New Orleans for a third year. However, this time it will arrive nearly two months earlier.

The convention will be held November 30 through December 2 at the Ernest N. Memorial Convention Center. For the past two years the event was held on the last weekend of January and only featured two days of events.

“Fans throughout the Southeast have made Wizard World New Orleans Comic Con a tremendous hit,” said John Macaluso, Wizard World CEO. “In January, thousands came to see stars like William Shatner, Adam Baldwin, Mary McDonnell and James Marsters, comics icon Stan Lee and dozens of others. We are working now on assembling another standout lineup of guests, VIP experiences and parties for what has become one of our most popular shows.”

Wizard World produces Comic Cons and pop culture conventions across North America that celebrate graphic novels, comic books, movies, TV shows, gaming, technology, toys and social networking. The events often feature celebrities from movies and TV, artists and writers, and events such as premieres, gaming tournaments, panels, and costume contests.
