Festival season is in full swing all across south Louisiana. From Lafayette to New Orleans, music lovers have a slew of activities to choose from this weekend.

In New Orleans, the 44th annual Jazz & Heritage Festival is now underway at the New Orleans Fairgrounds. For the next 10 days, headliners such as John Mayer, Frank Ocean and Willie Nelson will perform with local favorites such as Allen Toussiant and the Rebirth Brass Band.

Lafayette has already had a couple days of fun after the Festival International de Louisiane kicked off on Wednesday. If you couldn’t tell by the name, the festival highlights the various music genres seen throughout Louisiana, including Blues, Cajun, Zydeco, Swamp Pop, Jazz, Gospel and much more.
