Local dancers audition at Perkins Rowe for national television show

Perkins Rowe was filled with young dancers from around the area competing for a chance to audition for the hit FOX show "So You Think You Can Dance." The winner is guaranteed an audition in front of producers for the show on March 16 in Memphis, TN, along with a round trip airfare donated by Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport.
After a battle of 10 contestants, Daniel Masterson, a teacher at Jean Leigh's Dance Acadamey, was proclaimed the winner. Masterson is no rookie. He competed in season three of "So You Think You Can Dance" and ended up in the top 20.
