Recent college graduates are earning less money than those who got jobs before the financial crisis.
A new report shows the median salary for 2009 and 2010 graduates was 27-thousand dollars.
However, earnings for those who graduated before the recession was about 30-thousand.
About half of those surveyed are working part-time jobs or jobs that don't require a college degree--and the future picture isn't much better. The report indicates the decrease in pay will continue throughout their careers.
The survey was conducted by John J. Heldrich Center for Workplace Development at Rutgers University.
