Hammond Market Sets Up Shop on the Second Saturday

Hammond, La—The Hammond Market vendors will setup shop again on the second Saturday of the month, Saturday, July 10. Locally grown produce and craft products made around the Northshore are for sale each month at the Hammond Market (formerly Farmer’s Market).

Customers can find the market at the corner of West Thomas Street and Southwest Railroad Avenue near the railroad tracks in downtown Hammond from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., weather permitting.

This month Hammond Market will feature incredibly edible produce like sweet Louisiana strawberries, eggplant, tomatoes, peppers and squash. Other items at the market will include artwork; delicious, fresh baked goods; children’s clothing; hair bows; glass etchings; handmade soaps and candles; beautifully crafted jewelry and décor items.
