Saturday a man was beaten to death in Terrebonne Parish.
It happened around 2:30 in the morning.
Terrebonne Sheriff's deputies say 57 year old Earl Fry and his girlfriend were driving down Bayouside Drive when 44 year old Philbert Vincent flagged them down.
When they stopped, Vincent began yelling at Fry's girlfriend. Fry tried to stop him, and Vincent began punching Fry and pulled him from the car and knocked Fry to the ground. Vincent then began kicking Fry in the face, chest, and stomach area and dragged him around on the street. Fry died later at his home.
Authorities arrested Viincent when hiding behind a house. Sheriff's deputies are charging him with second degree murder.
