Police say one man is dead following a shooting near Capitol High School Saturday night.

Officials say yesterday evening eighteen year old Darius Byrd was walking down North 23rd Street toward a neighborhood store when a car pulled up and someone inside shot him.

He was taken to the hospital where he later died.
