Sales tax holiday set for this weekend

Save money on back to school supplies

There's a sales tax holiday in Louisiana this Saturday and Sunday.

Shoppers will not have to pay the state sales tax on everything from clothing and appliances, to electronics and furniture.

Some baton rouge retailers are throwing in extra discounts during the holiday as well. The one catch, it doesn't apply to purchases over $2,500.
