Woman arrested for beer theft

Accused of hiding beer between legs

Police arrested 42-year old Lisa Newsome for theft. Numerous tips came in on Newsome after authorities released this video, showing a woman taking a case of Budlight and hiding it between her legs at the Cossroads Grocery in Zachary.

The store manager says she realized something was wrong after the couple started acting strangely, then left quickly without buying anything. That's when she checked the survellance video.
