Baker residents hope for flooding fix

Some citizens in Baker hope the capitol improvements plan could mean less flooding.

Residents say many of the parish-owned drainage pipes are clogged with debris. Because of that, large parts of Bethany Church on Plank Road have to use sandbags. And just down the way, mobile park owner Bob Swearingen sees his lot turn into a lake, complete with plenty of debris.

Folks we spoke with say they'd love to support the mayor's mutli-million dollar capitol improvements plan, but they would like to see more infrastructure projects for the surrounding towns.
