Body Found Under House in Eunice

EUNICE, La. (AP) - Eunice police are investigating a badly decomposed body that was found under a house.
Police Chief Gary Fontenot told The Daily World of Opelousas on Monday there is no reason to believe a crime has been committed, but police aren't ruling anything out at this point.
The gruesome discovery occurred about 3 p.m. Sunday under the home of Cory Hannon.
Hannon said he originally believed a dog or some other animal had crawled up under the house and died.
Police have identified the body as that of 43-year-old Duan Andrus, who lived just a few blocks away.
Andrus was last seen by family members on Wednesday and he was officially reported as missing on Friday.
