Southbound lane on Intracoastal Canal bridge closed

LA 1 south on the Intracoastal Canal bridge remains closed after a chemical spill.
State police say a tractor trailer dumped about two tons of waste onto the exit ramp off of I-10 westbound towards Port Allen.
Police expect cleanup to last several more hours.
