The Department of Justice is cracking down on fraudulent medicare claims.
Now they're targeting Baton Rouge.

Department of Health and Human Services secretary Kathleen Sebelius says the crackdown comes after 30 people were put behind bars. They're from all over the country - and accused of filing $61 million in bogus claims.

The team looking at claims in the Capital City is part of the Medicare Fraud Strike Force. They're job will be to investigate suspicious claims - and make sure all the claims filed are legit.
