Monday, September 28, 2009 - 7:19am

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Two Baton Rouge men died when the car they were in struck an oak tree and split in half in East Baton Rouge Parish.
State police say speed may have been a factor in the accident that killed 44-year-old Ricky E. Andrews and 40-year-old Coda Taraz Tolbert Jr. around 4:30 a.m. Sunday.
Troopers say the accident occurred when Andrews lost control of the Mustang he was driving on the westbound approach to the U.S. Highway 190 bridge. Investigator said Andrews and Tolbert were wearing their seat
belts.
