
THIBODAUX, La. (AP) - State police say a Labadieville motorist
was killed in a weekend traffic accident during heavy rain on a
Thibodaux highway.
Louisiana State Police Troop C spokesman Gilbert Dardar said
24-year-old Titus Meads died shortly before 7 a.m. Saturday when
his northbound 2005 Cadillac CTS went into a spin and crossed into
the northbound lane of Louisiana Highway 308.
The Cadillac was hit on the passenger side by a 2003 Chevrolet
Silverado. Meads was pronounced dead at the scene. The truck's
driver had moderate injuries. Witnesses said it was raining heavily
at the time of the crash.
