Man Shot on Government St; Dies At the Scene

Detectives now looking for the Murder Suspect

Baton Rouge Police are currently investigating a shooting that occurred around 3:38pm this evening at 2453 Government Street in Baton Rouge.

The victim was shot after having a brief argument with the suspect and died at the scene from his injuries.

Detectives are looking for a 1980 Chevy pick up truck with a dark colored passenger cab having a primed gray truck bed with a black male driver. The truck was last scene traveling south bound on St. Rose St.
