Plaquemines Parish President expresses outrage

Louisiana is ready to move forward with emergency plans to buffer its fragile coast—with or without permission from Federal agencies. The decision could erupt in a legal battle but state and parish leaders say with oil already soaking seventy miles of their coast there isn't time to wait. Plaquemines Parish President Billy Nungesser is angry that it has taken weeks for Federal officials to approve Louisiana's dredging request.
