Director Roman Polanski has lost another legal challenge. A California court rejected his bid to have him sentenced in Abstentia.
Polanski is under house arrest in Switzerland. The Swiss will only extradite Polanski if he faces a sentence longer than six months.
U.S. prosecutors are pushing for up to two years in prison if he's convicted.
Polanski is charged with six felony counts - including rape by use of drugs, child molesting, and sodomy - for an incident in the late seventies, which involved a thirteen year old girl.
