Sheriff Looking for Cigarette, Lottery Thieves

East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Detectives are looking for two men in the theft of thousands of dollars worth of cigarettes and lottery tickets from the Circle K on Old Hammond Highway September 8 at approximately 10:31 p.m.

According to reports, the two men entered the store located at 15958 Old Hammond Highway. They stood inside the store talking to each other for approximately ten minutes and appear to exchange something. Then one man exits the store and walks around the building. The other man walks behind the counter and picks up a box containing several thousands of dollars worth of cigarettes and Louisiana Lottery scratch off tickets. He then exits the store.

The two men were believed to be driving a light-colored minivan, possibly silver or gray. Suspects are described as follows:

Suspect 1: Male / Black

Medium complexion wearing red/black head cloth with red tee shirt, jeans and white shoes.

Suspect 2: Male / Black

Medium complexion wearing dark polo style shirt and dark shorts with black shoes. Low cut hair
