
Fugitive Apprehension Unit assists Denham Springs City Marshal's Office
The State Attorney General's Fugitive Apprehension Unit teamed up with the Denham Springs City Marshal's Office to put a man behind bars.
Authorities were looking for Jimmy Stoetzner for four months before they received a tip that he was in Denham Springs. Stoetzner was wanted on multiple counts including armed robbery, aggravated burlary, and false imprisonment with a weapon. Authorities say they stopped the car he was in on December 11th at the 8200 block of Rushing Road in Denham Springs.
He initially gave authorites a false name, but they were able to identify him based on a picture. He eventually admitted to his identity.
This is the 278th arrest made with the help of the FAU since it's start a year and a half ago.
