EBR Government Offices Open Friday

BATON ROUGE (WGMB) - EBR Parish Government offices are open Friday. However, City-Parish leaders request all non-essential employees come in to work at 9am.

Public works crews are on call, and are standing by with barricades. Public Works Director Pete Newkirk tells NBC33, "We have barricade crews on 24-hour standby to put out barricades for State Police, BR City Police, and Sheriff. We anticipate major road closures."
