Fox News Baton Rouge Update
OPELOUSAS, La. (AP) - Larry John Snyder has been booked in to
the St. Landry Parish jail on kidnapping charges.
Handcuffed and shackled, the 36-year-old Snyder entered the St.
Landry Parish Sheriff's Office about 4 p.m. Monday.
Snyder, who faces second-degree murder charges for allegedly
killing Davina Ann Chapman last week, is accused of kidnapping her
from St. Landry Parish prior to the death.
Chapman disappeared from a Krotz Springs bar July 19, after
reportedly getting into an argument with Snyder. The two had been
dating for approximately three years.
Chapman's body was found late July 20 under the nearby Four-Mile
Bridge in Pointe Coupee Parish.
