BATON ROUGE, LA (FOX44) — A young man is in the hospital in critical condition after he was shot during an argument that erupted during a basketball game.

The Baton Rouge Police Department reports that the incident happened shortly after 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 19. We’re told the 19-year-old victim was shot in the chest after the fight broke out at the BREC Park located on Kernan Street.

Investigators have not yet identified a suspect(s) in this case.
