BATON ROUGE, LA (FOX44) — Homeless shelters across the state are getting a financial boost from the FEMA, including shelters in EBR Parish.

The money comes with the goal to help deal with homelessness in Louisiana and the entire country.

Shelters in East Baton Rouge Parish will see about $150,000, the most of any parish in the state.

Also included is Assumption Parish, who’ll receive around $10,000.
