AROUND THE WORLD (FOX44) – Afghanistan, 2-NATO soldiers are dead after an attack at a police checkpoint. It happened near a busy marketplace. Reports say a man blew himself up, taking out 2-coalition soldiers and injuring 6-children nearby. The Taliban is claiming responsibility.

China – Cameras captured Sunday night's solar eclipse. The shadow of the moon moved across the sun. Eventually, the sun just looked like a thin ring behind the moon.

United States – Rings were pulled out of 15-tons of trash in Massachusetts.

A woman dug through piles and piles of garbage after she realized she threw away her jewelry, including her wedding rings. One of the waste management workers was able to locate her bag.

Also in China – A young couple tied the knot underwater. They strapped on some scuba gear at a marine park, jumped into a giant fish tank, and said ‘I do’. Afterwards the bride and groom kissed a dolphin while the wedding guests cheered from the bleachers.
