AROUND THE WORLD (FOX44) – Afghanistan, an avalanche has killed almost 50-people in a tiny village 200-hundred miles northeast of Kabul. Relief workers are on horses and donkeys struggling in deep snow to get there. But another avalanche is making that difficult.

Egypt – Militants blew up a pipeline, it is reportedly the thirteenth such attack since the fall of President Mubarak. It carries gas to Israel and Jordan. Witnesses say armed men in two pick-up trucks set off the remote-controlled explosions.

Mexico – A lady is completely covered in tattoos, piercings, and even has titanium horns and fang implants, earning her the name "vampire woman". The mother of four says her body modifications are an expression of freedom she felt after the end of an abusive marriage.

Jamaica – Britain's Prince Harry showed off his moves in Kingston as part of his overseas tour marking Queen Elizabeth’s 60-years on the throne. He didn't have a choice; one of the dancers pulled him onto the dance floor. He was a good sport and busted a few moves to the delight of onlookers.

India – What may feel like an earthquake here is really elephants racing toward a finish line. The annual race marks the start of a 10-day festival dedicated to the Hindu God, Krishna. The winning elephant will take part in the other big events coming up.
