AROUND THE WORLD (FOX44) – Belgium, church bells tolled for the victims of Tuesday’s tragic wreck. Twenty-two sixth graders and six adults were headed back home from a ski resort in the Swiss Alps when their bus crashed into tunnel. Three children who survived the wreck remain in critical condition.

Afghanistan – Ten people are dead after a helicopter crashes into a house near Kabul. The chopper belonged to a Turkish company and completely destroyed the home it crashed into. The accident is still under investigation.

United Kingdom – It looks like the Duchess of Cambridge may have what it takes to play field hockey for an Olympic team. Kate Middleton spent time with Great Britain’s squad. Middleton actually played in college.

Germany – A 17-day-old earless rabbit was supposed to be the next big animal celeb but his 15-minutes of fame ended before it began. At a press conference to show him off to the world a photographer unknowingly stepped on him and killed him.

Indonesia – Here an 8-year-old smokes 2-packs of cigarettes a day.

Research shows that in this country cigarettes are the second biggest household expenditure after food.
