AROUND THE WORLD (FOX44) – England, posters for the 2012 Olympics are out.

A team of artists unveiled twelve different takes on how to celebrate the upcoming games. Not every one's a fan, claiming the work is a little too abstract. In fact one British news site is calling the work, quote; "truly awful."

Thailand – A popular zoo is partially under water. Safari World flooded after officials decided to open a nearby flood gate. But get this; the dolphins are the animals most in danger because rising water levels could damage the machine that cleans the pool.

India – A Tibetan in exile tried to set fire to himself in front of the Chinese Embassy. Police arrived on scene and put out the flames. As he was carried away he called out, "free Tibet!" repeatedly. It’s been under Chinese rule since 1950.

China – High drama on the side of a skyscraper, a worker got his foot stuck in part of the crane's frame. He tried to wiggle it free for hours before his coworkers called for help. Firefighters eventually cut part of the iron frame to free it and everyone is ok.

Russia – These men are fresh off a "mock" mission to Mars. The crew agreed to a grueling 525-day simulation of a trip to space. They spent that time locked inside a network of windowless modules at a Moscow space research center. Today they came out pale but smiling.
