AROUND THE WORLD (FOX44) – France, a 23-year-old is claiming to have killed 7-people killed after a shootout with police. It happened after security forces stormed an apartment after staking it out for over a day. The suspect told police he belonged to Al Qaeda and wanted to take revenge for Palestinian children killed in the Middle East.

Russia – Listen to this daring prison break today. A hijacked helicopter flew over a prison camp and a convicted murderer scrambled up a rope ladder to the helicopter and freedom. Right now the hunt is on for the convict and his accomplices.

Brazil – Federal prosecutors are filing criminal charges against 17-Chevron and Transocean executives for an oil spill off the coast. November's leak spewed some 110-thousand gallons of oil into the Atlantic Ocean.

Italy – Three more bodies have been found on the wreckage of the Costa Concordia. Twenty-eight bodies have now been found on the ship. Four people are still missing and presumed dead.

United States – A house was ruined but the family is safe tonight after a giant boulder rolled down a hillside and crashed into the place. Two vehicles were also crushed. Luckily the family was in the back of the house at the time and no one was hurt.
