AROUND THE WORLD (FOX44) – Greece, the week long relay across the country is done and today in Athens the flame was turned over to representatives of the London Olympics. The flame is being kept at the British Embassy tonight, and then be flown over the United Kingdom tomorrow. The torch run starts on Saturday and will arrive in London on July 27th for opening ceremonies.

Australia – A runner is taking exercise to new heights. A guy ran 13-miles on a treadmill yesterday while flying in a hot air balloon. The feat rose close to 100-grand for a heart foundation.

Italy – Two men have literally gone off the deep end at Europe’s largest volcano. The speed flyers are the first ones to successfully descend into Mount Etna with a paraglide and skis. The team had to wait for just the right time, since the volcano has already erupted about 4-times so far this year.

China – A fisherman caught a 13-hundred pound Kaluga. It’s a rare find because the species of fish is endangered and only lives in this river on the Chinese-Russian border. The female was carrying more than a million eggs so breeders will try to fertilize them and send the resulting small fry back to the river.
