AROUND THE WORLD (FOX44) – Greece, clashes in Athens again today as Parliament debates unpopular new austerity measures. Protestors who were trying to block anarchists and other violent demonstrators got into a fight. Police had to break out the tear gas to control the chaos. Greece needs to drastically cut its budget in order to prevent it from defaulting on its debt.

United Kingdom – There was a violent showdown between riot police and members of a gypsy- like group known as "Irish Travelers." Officers are moving in to evict the travelers after they lost a decade long battle to keep their pitched homes. In a onetime scrap yard cops faced off with hundreds of angry people some reportedly throwing rocks and urine.

Australia – Dramatic new video shows a car crashing into a store, sending a baby stroller flying in the air. A 15-month-old was strapped in it at the time. The child's mother reacts in horror. Everyone is ok even the driver and his passenger. No word on what caused the crash.

Thailand – Heavy flooding near the capital city of Bangkok left hundreds of animals stranded without food or water for nearly 2-weeks. Teams of activists arrived in boats to rescue them. Saying they'll rehabilitate the animals before turning them over to livestock authorities.
