Around The World(FOX44) Greece- the unemployment rate in Greece topped 24 percent in June.
The number of people out of work in June increased by 34 thousand to more than 1.2 million.

The Greek government is hammering out a new 14.4 billion dollar Austerity package for next year as it tries to secure its next installment of bailout money.

Thailand- The flood situation in Northern Thailand is getting worse
today, several villages are cut off by floods and more than 1,000 houses and thousands of acres of farmland in have been inundated with floods.

 Many rural villages have seen bad flooding as heavy downpours continue.
People living along the rivers have to stay alert and brace for overflowing water.

Jerusalem- Israeli archeologists in Jerusalem say they've found a water reservoir that dates to the first temple period, between 1,006 and 586 BC.
The water system was discovered during the excavation of the sewage system of the second temple.

The system snaked beneath what was then the main street in Jerusalem.
The exact period of the first temple is relatively unknown because of 28 hundred years of construction and human activity at the site.
