AROUND THE WORLD (FOX44) – Iran, an Iranian cargo vessel went up in flames in the Persian Gulf. And thanks to a TV-crew sailing nearby the 9-men on the cargo ship are all safe. Those desperate guys jumped from their burning ship to the t-v boat.

Mexico – A riot at a prison near Monterrey, Mexico kills at least 44-people. Officials say a fight broke out early Sunday morning between guards and inmates. Violence often breaks out in Mexican prisons where drug cartels battle for control.

Libya – Misrata residents head to the polls today in the city's first election in more than 40-years. The election will decide the make-up of the 28-member Misrata council. It's the Libyan city's first taste of democracy since the fall of long-time dictator Muammar Qaddafi.

Germany – Two boxers got into a fight before even stepping into the ring. Over the weekend Dereck Chisora and David Haye duked it out during a press conference. Both boxers could face life-time bans from the sport.

Italy – Getting hit in the face with a fruit is a risk you must be willing to take when you sign up for the famous Italian 'battle of the oranges.'

The 3-day food fight brings together thousands of people and more than 400-tons of oranges. It’s just how these people like to celebrate the carnival season.
