AROUND THE WORLD (FOX44) – Iraq, U.S. troops are getting ready to head out and hand over Saddam Hussein’s Presidential palaces including the one where he was held prisoner and interrogated by American forces. Our military is conducting counter terrorism training with Iraqi forces, through the end of the year.

The Philippines – A not so warm welcome for Secretary of State Hilary Clinton. Protesters hit her motorcade with paintballs. The crowd says the want an end to the military pact between the two nations. Clinton is there trying to resolve a territorial dispute in the South China Sea.

Pakistan – The U.S. has turned to hip hop to get Pakistani’s to like us. Only 12-percent of them do, according to recent stats. The U.S. embassy brought in artists to dance, rap, and recite poetry. It’s part of a 10-day trip sponsored by the State department.

China – A tire manufacturer is rolling colored tires off its production lines now. The rubber looks pretty but officials say they are actually more durable that what are on cars in that country now. Sorry, we don't know if these bad boys are headed our way anytime soon.

United Kingdom – Doctors want the government to ban smoking in cars, even if the drivers are riding solo. They say lighting up in cars exposes people to 23-times more toxins, than a smoke filled bar because the space is so small. Opponents say this will never fly because cars are private property.
