AROUND THE WORLD (FOX44) – Japan, scientists hope to turn starfish into a health product for your pet. The plan is to take the sea creature's skin, mix it with an enzyme, and feed it to your dog or cat. They say it will lower their risk for diabetes and local fisherman love the idea. Starfish are always getting stuck in their nets.

England – The young royals have new titles: Olympic ambassadors. Prince William, Kate, and Harry accepted those roles for the British and Paralympic teams. The summer Olympics will be played in their hometown, London.

Also in London it’s all things android at a Robot Festival. There are some that talk, play soccer, and dance. Another robot uses Microsoft’s X-Box Kinect to map its surroundings. She's so smart; she can help you find your missing coffee cup.

France – A company wants to give the Eiffel Tower a "green" makeover, hoping to drape half-a-million plants all over the famous landmark so it can become the world's largest tree. City officials are hinting the plan probably won't happen.

South Korea – There's a mall full of butt kicking Santa’s.

They're actually security guards and the St. Nick ninja's also pass out candy and pose for pictures with customers.

Tune in every night at 9:00 p.m. on FOX44 New Baton Rouge for more Around the World.
