AROUND THE WORLD (FOX44) – Mexico, a minor league baseball team was playing against kids when all of a sudden; gunfire erupted just outside the stadium. Officials say gunmen opened fire on police. The 3-gunmen were killed in the shootout. Fans and players were shaken up but everyone is ok.

Italy – The Costa Concordia’s bell is missing. It’s believed a crafty group of scuba diving thieves swiped it. They managed to steal the symbolic piece of the boat even as the capsized cruise ship remains under a 24-hour watch by the Italian Coast Guard.

China – Officials will have to move the opening date for a new bridge. That's because a section of it has collapsed.

Ten construction workers were on the clock when this happened but no one was hurt. It’s believed that workers removed the steel support bars for the bridge before they should have.

Italy – A Cuban crocodile enjoyed celebrity status after meeting the Pope. It wound up in Italy after customs officials seized it from tourists. Italy planned to ship it back to Cuba but allowed the little reptile to say ‘hi’ to the Pope first. The croc is now seen as a symbol of friendship and good relations between the two countries.
