AROUND THE WORLD (FOX44) – Mexico, the country is suffering its worst drought in 70-years and hard times have fallen not only on legitimate farmers but also on marijuana growers. Lack of rain has dried up more than 2-million acres where they grow their pot.

United Arab Emirates – The country has only one woman qualified to be a train conductor. Authorities typically arrest women for driving cars in neighboring Saudi Arabia.

United States – A man sleeping in his bed was pinned under an SUV after it came crashing into this Connecticut apartment.

Police say the BMW’s driver was trying to get away from them and lost control of his vehicle. We're told he fled the scene and the man he could’ve killed is going to be ok

Australia – A site to see as 154-water skiers tried to break a world record. All the skiers stayed on their skis for a full nautical mile but nine fell. It took a lot of planning to pull this stunt off. No word yet if this feat made it into the record books.

India – Coffee giant Starbucks has something brewing here. The company plans to open 50-stores by the end of the year to compete with chains that are already there. The plan is to tap into an emerging wealthy class in India.
