AROUND THE WORLD (FOX44) – Nigeria, the State Department is has confirmed that U.S. citizens were on board the plane that crashed over the weekend. The country is observing 3-days of mourning for the victims of this devastating plane crash. All 153-people on board the Dana Air flight were killed Sunday. Witnesses say it hit tail first, smashing into a 2-story residential building and bursting into flames. There is no word on how many people on the ground or Americans lost their lives.

Canada – It’s believed a man who opened fire in a busy shopping mall's food court is in custody tonight. His rampage killed 1-person for sure but as shoppers panicked a couple of people were trampled on including: a pregnant woman who went into labor after she was pushed.

Egypt – Protesters continue to show their fury. They're upset the country's former president received just a life sentence for failing to stop the killing of civilians during last year's uprising. They wanted Mubarak put to death.

United Kingdom – Queen Elizabeth’s husband Prince Philip has been taken to the hospital to be treated for a bladder infection. That of course means he will miss tonight's big Jubilee concert in front of Buckingham Palace, one of the real centerpiece events to celebrate his wife's 60-years on the throne.

Germany – Elvis a jack russell terrier was stuck in an underground pipe for more than 6-hours. It took a team of firefighters, 2-backhoes, and some fancy camera equipment to free Elvis. He is out now looking grateful and super cute.
